{"id":8492,"date":"2025-07-21T09:12:48","date_gmt":"2025-07-21T07:12:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.edifyeduproject.eu\/successful-organization-of-the-edify-edu-innovation-quest-job-fair-by-daissy-hou-and-achade\/"},"modified":"2025-07-21T11:47:02","modified_gmt":"2025-07-21T09:47:02","slug":"successful-organization-of-the-edify-edu-innovation-quest-job-fair-by-daissy-hou-and-achade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.edifyeduproject.eu\/fi\/successful-organization-of-the-edify-edu-innovation-quest-job-fair-by-daissy-hou-and-achade\/","title":{"rendered":"Successful organization of the EDIFY EDU Innovation-Quest-Job Fair by DAISSy-HOU and Achade"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/daissy.eap.gr\/el\/\"><strong>DAISSy Research Group<\/strong><\/a> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eap.gr\/en\/\"><strong>Hellenic Open University<\/strong><\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.e-a.gr\/\"><strong>Achade-Achaia Chamber Development Entity<\/strong><\/a> successfully organized the awareness event on <strong>\u201cEmpowering Inclusive Workplaces through Equality, Diversity, Inclusion (EDI)\u201d as part of the implementation of the \u201c<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edifyeduproject.eu\/fi\/\"><strong>Equality, Diversity, Inclusion For improving the qualitY of management EDUcation (EDIFY EDU)<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u201d <\/strong>European project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was organised by Achade-Achaia Chamber Development Entity, was held in person on <strong>Wednesday, June 4, 2025<\/strong>, at the <strong>PWC Technology and Innovation Hub<\/strong> facilities in Patras, and was supported by the DAISSy Research Group of the HOU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taking into account that the project is about to end,&nbsp; the main objective of the event was to disseminate the EDIFY EDU results, as well as to highlight <strong>Good EDI Practices<\/strong>, connect employers with job seekers and enhance awareness and sensitization regarding <strong>Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)<\/strong> at the workplace. The project&#8217;s educational tools (<strong>MOOC &amp; Specialization Course<\/strong>) were presented by Mrs. Panagiota Polymeropoulou, followed by a thematic discussion with Mr. Stavros Kouris on the opportunities Inclusion brings to entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event concluded by the <strong>\u201cMeet Me Over Coffee \u2013 Job Matching Edition\u201d<\/strong> activity, where any participant, students included, had the opportunity to talk directly with company representatives, submit their CVs and participate in informal interviews. This activity substantially enhanced networking and established communication channels for future collaborations.
