May 9, 2025 – On the occasion of European Day 2025, Pro Arbeit organized an event within the framework of the European project EDIFY_EDU, aimed at presenting employers with meaningful and outstanding social commitment. The EDIFY_EDU Jobs Fair focused on career perspectives and promoting equal opportunities in the labor market.

The Concept of the Event: “Tour d’Horizon”
The event followed an innovative approach with a “Tour d’Horizon”, a journey through various stations that gave participants the opportunity to explore different topics. The three stations offered exciting insights into the world of work, with one station standing out in particular: the employer roundtable.
At this station, the winners of the 2024 Employer Award „Employer as Opportunity Creator“ introduced their companies and shared their approaches to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and social engagement – topics that are central to EDIFY_EDU.

Employers as Role Models for Social Responsibility and Equal Opportunities
The focus was particularly on the values of social responsibility and equal opportunities that the participating employers actively integrate into their corporate strategies. During the event, the employers were interviewed about their commitment to fair working conditions and promoting diversity and inclusion. Their approaches and practical examples showcased how they contribute to a fairer, more sustainable, and more inclusive working world.
These values are also reflected in the goals of EDIFY_EDU: The project aims to create an inclusive, fair, and sustainable labor market where everyone – regardless of background, gender, or social status – has equal opportunities for career success.
Bridging the Gap Between Theory and Practice
The EDIFY_EDU Jobs Fair successfully bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical experience by featuring future-oriented companies that shared valuable insights into their work and career opportunities.
Looking to the Future
Looking ahead, the EDIFY_EDU Jobs Fair demonstrates how important it is to foster young talent and equip them with the right tools to succeed in an increasingly complex labor market. It will be exciting to see how such initiatives evolve and what impact they will have on the future world of work.
