Within the EDIFY_EDU project, EGInA and CONFAPI had the pleasure of organising the final FAIR-JOB-FAIR — a day dedicated to stories, practices, and tools for promoting neurodiversity and sociodiversity in education and the workplace.

The event took place at beginning of July in the beautiful town of Spello, known as the “City of Flowers” for its famous Infiorata, an annual festival in which residents carpet the streets with elaborate floral designs for the Corpus Domini, transforming the town into a living work of art.

The EDIFY_EDU Fair-Job-Fair opened with a photographic exhibition, portraying powerful journeys of inclusion and rebirth, curated by Federico Durante and Alessandra Baduel. Federico and Alessandra showed their work, explaining how the exhibition and their project aim at telling the real stories of people who have faced difficulties (social stigma, marginalization, trauma) and how they have overcome them. The final objective is to show how community, sharing, acceptance, and inclusion can help people heal and thrive, breaking down prejudice, and highlighting examples of resilience and cooperation.
After this opening, participants at the fair had the opportunity to see the exhibition and read the stories, while reflecting on the value of inclusion and diversity in all its forms.

Afterwards, the EDIFY_EDU Fair-Job-Fair concluded with a practical and hands-on workshop led by FORMA.Azione, aimed at exploring tools and practices to promote more inclusive work environments.
The workshop showcased practical strategies to support neurodiversity in the workplace, encouraging organisations to be a safe space for anyone.
We also had the pleasure of hosting some of the students who took part in the Italian edition of the EDIFY_EDU specialisation course and were about to begin their internships abroad, bringing their personal insights and future-forward perspectives into the conversation on diversity and inclusion.
